Plymouth University, founded in 1862, is a public comprehensive research university located in Plymouth, England. He is a member of Marine Renewable Energy Research Alliance, Jiangsu-UK High-level University Alliance, British University Alliance, association of commonwealth universities and European University Association.
Plymouth University was rated as "World Famous University" by the Science and Education Channel of CCTV. It has the earliest and largest Institute of Oceanography in Britain, and its marine-related disciplines are at the top level in the world, and it has maintained close academic cooperation with China Academy of Sciences and Institute of Oceanography of National University of Science and Technology of China. Plymouth University won the Queen's Anniversary Medal in 1994, 201kloc-0/and 2020 respectively. It has two highly cited scientists, three academicians from five British academic institutions and 23 members of the British Institute of Higher Education.
