Tsinghua University, abbreviated as "Tsinghua", is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). Chinese universities have become multidisciplinary industrial universities after the adjustment of 1952 departments. Starting from 1978, it gradually recovered and developed into a comprehensive research university.
