The school was founded by Shanghai Jianqiao (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Jianqiao Investment Development Co., Ltd. in April 2000, and was included in the national enrollment plan 5438+0 in April 2006. Formerly known as Shanghai Jianqiao Vocational and Technical College, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college with the approval of Shanghai Municipal People's Government in September 2005.
The school was jointly funded by Zhou Xingzeng, a native of Wenzhou, Zhejiang, and founded by Professor Ching Wan Wong. The school is one of the first batch of pilot units in Shanghai to cultivate high-skilled talents through independent enrollment reform and school-enterprise cooperation. It was also approved as the first batch of "Shanghai Technician College" and "Shanghai University Counselor Training Base". The numerical control training base of mechatronics major in our school is a national demonstration numerical control training base. The school has a beautiful campus environment and complete supporting facilities. It is a garden unit in Shanghai. The school won the title of "Shanghai Civilized Unit" for three consecutive years.
