Liao Jun mentioned in the preface is Lu Xun's adopted son Liao Li 'e, and "such a person" refers to Mr. Lu Xun.

When he said this, Liao Li 'e had lived in Mr. Lu Xun's house for seven months, and even stole some valuable things when he left, because he felt that Mr. Lu Xun's travel expenses were not enough.

Mr. Lu Xun is very accurate in judging people, but he is "wrong" about Liao Li. What kind of person am I, Liao Li, who can't compete with Mr. Lu Xun's vision?

The story begins with 1926.

At that time, Peking University was unable to pay teachers' salaries on time because of insufficient funds, including Lu Xun. Lin Yutang of Xiamen University immediately sent 500 yuan Ocean to Lu Xun after learning about this situation, and promised to give Lu Xun 400 yuan Ocean a monthly salary, which was not a small sum at that time.

1927 On September 27th, Lu Xun left Guangzhou and returned to Shanghai. Liao Li reluctantly bid farewell to Lu Xun at the dock.

A few months later, Liao Li 'e really came to Shanghai. He did not come alone. He took his wife and brother.

Liao San lives in a hotel. Soon, Liao Li 'e wrote a letter to Lu Xun. The content of the letter should be that he has no money to pay the hotel fee and hopes to get Lu Xun's help.

However, after three people lived in Lu Xun's house for a period of time, their wives and brothers had no intention of returning to China. They eat and drink like at home, and no one wants to go out to work or help with housework.

According to Ms. Xu Guangping's memory, "Li E visited Lu Xun's residence as many as 38 times from October 30th to September 29th in 1927+65438/kloc-0, and received six books such as Peach Blossom and tuition fees from Lu Xun. In fact, at this time, Lu Xun had no salary income, and only relied on the payment of the manuscript to maintain the family's life, but he still provided food and drink for Liao Li' e and others, while Liao Li' e pushed his luck and often claimed to be Lu Xun's "adopted son."

But these people not only need food and shelter, but also pocket money, saying that they pay tuition. In order to fool Mr. Lu Xun, Liao Li 'e and his brother pretended to be reading upstairs, but when Lu Xun went out, they were either asleep or drinking.

Lu Xun likes talents very much, and he is especially willing to support scholars, so he let Liao Li 'e and others live for a while.

Liao Li 'e also asked Lu Xun to help him find something to do. Without saying anything, Lu Xun asked his friend Yu Dafu to help Liao Li 'e find a job in a modern bookstore. Lu Xun said that it is well-intentioned to spend 30 yuan a month as Liao Li 'e's "salary" and let him read more books in the bookstore on weekdays.

As a result, Liao Li 'e didn't want to do anything at all, even didn't want to stay in the bookstore all day, so she resigned on the grounds of "too little salary and too low position". Lu Xun was speechless, but helpless.

Soon after, because of the "revolutionary literature" incident, Lu Xun lost his job and lived on a few dollars earned by his wife Xu Guangping. But Lu Xun never mistreated Liao Li 'e. Besides eating and drinking, he also gave him some spare money. But as life became more and more difficult, less and less money could be given to him, which made Liao Li very dissatisfied.

Finally, one day, Liao Li 'e couldn't hold back any longer. At the dinner table, she directly said that she was degraded because she lived in Lu Xun's house, and proposed to sever relations with Lu Xun.

What's more, Liao Li asked Lu Xun to pay compensation for the land mortgaged in his hometown. It was a lion's mouth to redeem the land with thousands of dollars, but Lu Xun refused.

Even so, when Liao Li 'e left, Lu Xun gave him the travelling expenses of 30 yuan, which was enough for him to return to Guangzhou from Shanghai at that time. But Liao Li quit and asked for some money.

"Lu Xun's Diary" records: "Li E went back and took one hundred and twenty springs, and seized more than ten pieces from clothes, quilts and utensils."

That is, Lu Xun gave him 120 yuan, who shamelessly stole Mr. Lu Xun's slightly valuable clothes and utensils. From then on, Lu Xun was completely disappointed with this once "seme" and remained silent.

However, after learning that Lu Xun was returning to work, this cheeky guy actually wrote to ask Mr. Wang to support himself. But Lu Xun was no longer fooled, just threw the letter into the stove, and there was no contact from then on.

Lu Xun wrote this world with his pen, but he didn't expect to meet a person as ferocious as Liao Li 'e.
