Will there be any big changes in insurance research in 2023?
There will be great changes in insurance research in 2023.

There was no obvious expansion of graduate students in 2023. The state has not encouraged universities in the central and western regions to expand enrollment as before, and graduate enrollment has entered a stage of steady development.

However, the number of graduate students is increasing, and the admission ratio will become lower. Especially after the recent registration for postgraduate entrance examination, colleges and universities all over the country have announced the proportion of students who will be exempted from the examination in 2023, which is even more "bad news" for postgraduate students.

A large number of 985 colleges and universities in China have increased the proportion of students who are exempt from examination, reduced the number of places for unified recruitment, and even some majors no longer accept postgraduate students. Under the condition that the number of graduate students is unchanged, avoiding the high proportion of students will inevitably seize the number of graduate students.

The proportion of insurance research in Nankai University increased from 25% in 2022 to 26.48%. The proportion of insurance research in Zhejiang University increased from 30.4% to 33.97%, with an obvious increase.

In terms of universities in Beijing, Beihang University's exemption rate increased from 36% to 39.8%, and Peking University's scientific research guarantee rate reached a historic 58.6%. Tsinghua's current data has not been released, but the overall forecast has increased.

From another point of view, the 2023 graduate enrollment brochure issued by the above-mentioned universities did not expand the enrollment scale, and even reduced the recruitment. This means fewer places will be reserved for graduate students.
