The Music School of Beihua University is located on the beautiful Songhua River in the northern city of Jilin. The college was founded in 1976, and passed through the Music Department of Jilin Normal University and the Music Department of the Art College of Beihua University. In April 2007, the Music School of Beihua University was formally established. The college has two full-time undergraduate majors: musicology and dance. Music curriculum and teaching theory are the awarding points of master's degree.
