Boda College of Jilin Normal University is located in Siping City, Jilin Province, a heroic city in the beautiful Songliao Plain. The school started to build at the end of 1999, and was officially approved by the Jilin Provincial Education Commission as the second-level college of Jilin Normal University in April 2000. That autumn, the first batch of freshmen entered school. In March 2004, it was approved as an independent college by the Ministry of Education. In the continuous exploration of school-running practice, Boda College has gradually formed its own school-running characteristics and brand advantages.
? Excellent teaching. The school has 39 undergraduate majors and 10 specialist majors, covering seven disciplines, namely, literature, science, engineering, teaching, management, law and art, forming five major professional groups, namely, language and literature, teacher education, science and engineering, management and art media. Boda College has continuously deepened education reform, strengthened teaching management, and actively explored and established new training modes. According to social needs, we should adjust the professional structure, optimize the curriculum system, increase the training of applied talents, strengthen vocational skills training, and pay attention to the cultivation of students' learning ability, innovation ability, practical ability, communication ability and social adaptability.
The environment is excellent. The school environment is elegant, all kinds of teaching facilities are complete, teaching instruments and equipment are advanced, and it has a good learning environment. The new campus will invest 900 million yuan and be completed in two phases. At present, the comprehensive building, library, gymnasium, student dormitory and canteen have been put into use, and the second phase of the new campus is under construction. The campus is full of green plants, flowers, books and laughter.
