Beihua University is the largest provincial key comprehensive university in Jilin Province, which is jointly established by Jilin Provincial People's Government and National Forestry and Grassland Bureau. 1999 was approved by the Ministry of Education in September, and was formed by the merger of Jilin Normal University, Jilin Medical College, Jilin Forestry College and Jilin Institute of Electrification.
