M 1 can accurately find tumor tissues, selectively infect and kill a variety of cancer cells in vitro, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer, bladder cancer and melanoma, and has no toxic side effects on normal cells.
Through the whole animal experiment, it was found that M 1 virus injected through the tail vein can be significantly enriched in tumor tissues and inhibit tumor growth, while normal organs are not affected. In addition to cell level and animal experiments, the research team also used the in vitro living tissue culture model of clinical specimens to further confirm the effectiveness and specificity of the new oncolytic virus.
