This course is generally offered in the first and second years of undergraduate course. This semester is the fourth semester of college English learning and the last semester of college English teaching. This semester, I will continue to undertake the English teaching tasks of Water Supply and Drainage 070 1 and Water Supply and Drainage 0702 in the Department of Civil Engineering of our college. On the basis of the first three volumes of teaching, this semester, as always, I organized teaching in strict accordance with the regulations of the Foreign Languages Department. I prepared lessons carefully before class, wrote lesson plans, copied the materials of Band 4 and explained them carefully in order to help more students pass Band 4. Because English is a practical course, I constantly explore and improve my learning methods. My teaching methods in class are flexible, which can better stimulate students' interest in learning English. Strengthen the interaction with students in the classroom, use English teaching more, and create an English semester environment for students. In class, I use various teaching methods to involve students, such as speech, discussion, question and answer, role-playing, practical spoken English and so on. After several semesters of training, students' English writing and speaking ability has been significantly improved. This semester is the last semester of the second year of college, and it is also a very important semester, because most students will continue to take the CET-4 at the end of the semester. In order to help students achieve better results in CET-4, I strengthen the basic knowledge of vocabulary, grammar and other languages, and at the same time, train their test-taking ability and skills in a targeted manner. For example, in this semester's English classroom teaching, I continued to strengthen the counseling of Band 4, providing useful suggestions and guidance for students to prepare for Band 4. Infiltrate the content of CET-4 into daily teaching in specific teaching links. For example, since the second semester, I have asked students to strengthen the training of CET-4 writing, and each assignment is aimed at the writing part of CET-4. Through nearly three semesters of writing training, students' writing ability has also been significantly improved. Judging from this final exam, it is not difficult to see that students' foundation is not solid enough, especially listening and vocabulary.
