Hainan college students not only enjoy the basic preferential rights and interests of citizens, but also enjoy a number of preferential policies for enlistment (abstract).

(a) in terms of financial assistance, enjoy family discount, college students' one-time enlistment bonus, tuition compensation and national student loan compensation, self-employment financial assistance, service allowance, retirement pension and occupational annuity, and old-age insurance transferred to local social security institutions after retirement.

② The army attaches great importance to the development of college students. In the army, they can try their best to be good soldiers, or they can take the unified examination in military schools and grow into officers. Soldiers with bachelor degree or above can be promoted in proportion according to conditions; After two years of military service, conscripts can apply to be elected as non-commissioned officers; When you retire, you can participate in the transfer of civilian personnel in the military establishment system.

(3) After retiring, college soldiers choose to return to school, and they also enjoy preferential policies such as extra points for postgraduate entrance examination, changing majors and exemption from exams. According to the actual situation, colleges and universities in Hainan have formulated preferential policies such as academic aid, employment aid and personalized development.

(4) The state has expanded the enrollment scale of "Retired College Soldiers" from 5,000 to 8,000 every year, and it has been implemented since 202 1.

⑤ Relax the conditions for college students in ordinary higher vocational colleges. Students who have graduated from higher vocational colleges (junior colleges) and retired from the army can enter ordinary undergraduate studies without examination on the premise of completing their higher vocational studies, which will be implemented from 2022.

(three) conscripts enjoy the allowances issued by the army during their service, and their families enjoy the preferential payments of the local government; When retiring, the army issued retirement pension and related subsidies, occupational annuity and endowment insurance were transferred to local social security institutions, and Hainan Province issued a one-time economic subsidy for self-employment.

After discharged from active service, conscripts apply for national civil servants, institutions of higher learning and secondary specialized schools, enjoy preferential treatment in accordance with relevant regulations, participate in vocational education and skills training free of charge, and enjoy preferential policies for independent employment. Those who meet the requirements can arrange work directly. Under the same conditions, the families of conscripts and other personnel have the right to give priority to employment, schooling, relief and loans.
