On May 13, Tao Huali, a 33-year-old woman from Tangshan, Hebei Province, beat a woman and a son with an iron bar, causing serious injuries to them. The child's father, Liu Bingxing, told the reporter that Tao Huali's mental state was "very violent" because of "trivial things in life". At present, the 7-year-old daughter is fine, and the son under 1 is still in a coma and is being observed in Tiantan Hospital. After the incident, Tao Huali was sent to Tangshan Mental Health Center for psychiatric appraisal.
This morning, the Beijing News reporter saw Li Jiajia, a girl who was beaten, in the psychiatric ward of the Affiliated Hospital of North China University of Science and Technology. There are still obvious bruises around her eyes and orbit. She was lying in a hospital bed, staring at a Barbie doll's long blond hair at the bedside. Because of the need of treatment, Li Jiajia's long hair was shaved off.
Aunt Lian Aiying, who accompanied her in the hospital bed, said that Li Jiajia's body was fine, except for a large bruise. "Trauma is mainly mental". Ms Lian said that 1 1 day after the incident, Li Jiajia, who was originally called the "talking basket", had never said a word, and now she would unconsciously hide in the corner of the bed when she met strangers.
The doctor in charge of the hospital bed in Li Jiajia told the reporter that his physical condition is relatively stable and he is recuperating, but his spirit is still highly nervous. In addition to not wanting to talk, there are symptoms of suspected amnesia.
