Liu Xianquan's position in the field of criminal law
Liu Xianquan, Dean, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Institute of Criminal Law, East China University of Political Science and Law. He is also the vice president of China Criminal Law Research Association and the president of Shanghai Law Society Criminal Law Research Association. He was selected into the first batch of national special support programs for high-level talents, and won the honorary titles of national model worker, national outstanding professional and technical personnel, Shanghai education hero, and national teaching teacher, and won the medal of "Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC)".

He has been engaged in criminal law research for a long time and has written and co-authored more than 80 academic works. He has published more than 800 papers in core newspapers such as People's Daily, Legal Studies, Oriental Law, Chinese and Foreign Law, and was awarded as a "prolific author" in CLSCI 12 years. As the chief expert, he presided over many scientific research projects such as major projects of the National Social Science Fund.

Liu Xianquan has been rated as "the best teacher in my mind" by students of East China University of Political Science and Law for 20 consecutive years, and thus won the "Best Teacher Lifetime Achievement Award in my mind". Diligent in seeking advice, familiar with jurisprudence, works, etc. He is the only amphibious teacher in East China University of Political Science and Law who has won the "Outstanding Teaching Contribution Award" and "Outstanding Scientific Research Contribution Award" so far.
