Liaoning University of Engineering Technology, founded in 1949, is a national key university with a long history of more than 70 years, formerly known as Fuxin Institute of Mining, one of the two key universities directly under the former Ministry of Coal Industry, and also a domestic first-class university construction university in Liaoning Province. The school has Fuxin Campus (Zhonghua Road Campus and Yulong Campus) and Huludao Campus (Longwan Campus).
At present, the school has eight first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization points, namely mechanics, surveying and mapping science and technology, mining engineering, management science and engineering, safety science and engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. In the fourth round of subject evaluation by the Ministry of Education, safety science and engineering were rated as B, mining engineering, surveying and mapping science and technology as B-, civil engineering, mechanics, mechanical engineering, management science and engineering as C+, software engineering and electrical engineering as C. It is suggested that students applying for Liaoning University of Engineering Technology should give priority to electrical engineering and its automation, software engineering, mechanical engineering and its automation, civil engineering, safety science and engineering, surveying and mapping engineering, engineering mechanics and information engineering.
Second, University of Science and Technology Liaoning
University of Science and Technology Liaoning, located in Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is the first metallurgical industrial school in China, founded in 1948. Anshan Institute of Iron and Steel 1958 was established at the undergraduate level, and 1998 was placed under the jurisdiction of Liaoning Provincial Government by the Ministry of Metallurgy, which was jointly established by the central and local governments and mainly managed by Liaoning Province. In 2002, it was renamed Anshan University of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and in 2006 it was renamed Liaoning University of Science and Technology again.
The school has three first-class disciplines, namely metallurgical engineering, control science and engineering, chemical engineering and technology. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education, the chemical engineering and technology of the school was rated as B-, software engineering as C+, control science and engineering, mechanical engineering as C, metallurgical engineering, business administration, materials science and engineering as C-. The dominant majors of the school are mainly materials, metallurgy, automation, machinery and chemistry. In addition, software engineering, computer science and technology, thermal energy and power engineering are also worth considering.
Third, Liaoning University of Technology
Liaoning University of Technology, located in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, is a multi-disciplinary application-oriented university with coordinated development of science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law and art. The school was founded in 195 1 and was renamed Liaoning University of Technology in March 2007 after the development stages of Jinzhou Institute of Technology and Liaoning Institute of Technology. 20 13 school was selected as the key construction university in the national "Basic Capacity Building Project of Universities in the Midwest", and 20 17 was approved as a demonstration university for the transformation of ordinary undergraduate universities into application-oriented universities in Liaoning Province.
At present, there is no doctoral degree authorization point in the school, but there are 1 1 first-class disciplines such as mechanical engineering, material science and engineering, control science and engineering, computer science and technology, civil engineering, transportation engineering and management science and engineering. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, control science and engineering were rated as C+ and management science and engineering as C-. Students and parents are advised to focus on vehicle engineering, automation, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, material science and engineering, and computer science and technology.
