The Capital College Students' Mental Health Festival is approaching, so grasp the psychological trends of college students-

Reporters went deep into colleges and universities to investigate the four major psychological pressures of college students. When asked "which aspect is the most stressful", 50% of the students surveyed chose employment pressure among four options: employment, study, interpersonal relationship and love. 27% students chose academic pressure.

On May 12 and May 13, our reporter went deep into China Renmin University, Capital Normal University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing Technology and Business University and other universities, and randomly invited college students to fill out the Psychological Stress Questionnaire for College Students. * * * 50 copies of the questionnaire/kloc-0 were sent, and 39 copies of the valid questionnaire/kloc-0 were recovered.

According to statistics, there are 24 freshmen, 34 sophomores, 46 juniors, 6 seniors, 265,438+0 postgraduates and 8 doctoral students who have valid questionnaires. The analysis shows that the main population of this survey is undergraduates who have not graduated.

There are 66 boys and 73 girls in the survey population. Among them, there are 40 people in rural areas and 96 people in cities (3 people did not fill in this item).

When answering "What is the biggest psychological pressure", 70 people chose employment among the four options of employment, study, interpersonal relationship and love, accounting for 50% of the total number. In addition, 27% chose to study, 13% chose to fall in love, and 10% chose interpersonal relationship.

Employment articles

Job hunting is the most lacking: relevant work or internship experience.

According to the questionnaire, 50% people think that the psychological pressure caused by employment is great, among which 84% people think that the situation is grim and it is difficult to find employment. 1 1% people think that the current employment situation is normal. This set of data may not be unexpected, and college students have a full understanding of the current employment situation.

Facing the employment situation directly, college students are inevitably under great psychological pressure. Through further analysis of the questionnaire, 44% people think they lack relevant work or internship experience, 17% people choose professional knowledge and skills, and 13% people choose communication and coordination skills.

Liang, a senior in beijing language and culture university Foreign Languages Department, said that she had been working part-time in New Oriental since her junior year, tutoring college entrance examination students. "Maybe in others' eyes, I have some utility. I study hard every day, but I think I have to face the employment problem after graduation. It is better to get in touch with society earlier. Generally speaking, I am more worried. "

When asked "what do you think you lack most in employment", a college student told reporters: "Work experience is more important. In addition to work experience, professional knowledge and communication skills are also what you must master, which can improve your competitiveness in the workplace. " The reporter learned from some colleges and universities that many enterprises pay special attention to the effective internship experience of graduates, especially the comments of experts. At the same time, some recruitment companies also warn graduates that too much internship experience will not work when applying for a job, but will be counterproductive.

What I want most: employer information.

According to the questionnaire, 36% people think that the information they want most is employer information. In addition, 24% people think it is career planning guidance, 23% people think it is applied skills, and 13% people think it is a professional way out.

Liu Tongxue, a senior in a university in Beijing, once interviewed a public institution. After a round of interviews, I don't know what to do for the competitive position. He told reporters that in the process of job hunting, the information about employers is often only learned from the Internet, and the information provided by schools in this regard is not much.

"Students can't find suitable jobs, and employers can't find suitable talents, which is largely due to information asymmetry. As a student, we should actively understand the recruitment information of enterprises. " One student believes that "most of the school's employment guidance is to teach students some information about job hunting skills and professional career prospects, which has some effects, but we want to get more information from employers." It is suggested that schools hold more conferences between universities and enterprises, so that college students can directly face enterprises. "

When employment pressure becomes a common problem, some experts suggest: "College students should pay attention to planning their employment direction in advance during their school days and exercise in a targeted manner, so that they can be sure when they are employed."

Academic articles

80% of college students: academic pressure comes from English and computer grade exams.

According to the survey, among the students who think the main psychological pressure comes from their studies, 40.5% think the postgraduate entrance examination is the biggest academic pressure. In addition, students also believe that the pressure comes from thesis writing and grade examination.

The survey also shows that junior students and senior students feel different sources of academic pressure. 63.5% freshmen think that getting a scholarship is their most important thing at present; 83.6% of sophomores think that academic pressure mainly comes from English and computer grade exams; 69.2% of junior students said that reviewing for postgraduate entrance examination is the main pressure in their study; 7 1.8% senior students think that writing graduation thesis is the most headache.

Chen Lin, a senior two student, told the reporter with a little pride that she got a high score of 60 1 in the first English test. Although I spent a lot of time and energy, my ability was proved in the exam. Xiao Chen also said that he would redouble his efforts to pass the CET-6 with excellent results this semester.

In the face of various academic pressures, what methods will college students take to alleviate them? According to the survey, 56.8% people like appropriate entertainment activities, such as playing computer games and singing in KTV. In addition, some students choose to exercise (40.5%), actively communicate with teachers or classmates (32.4%), have a good cry (1 1.3%) or see a psychologist (6.8%).

In the survey, 86.4% of college students said that academic pressure played a positive role in their study. Proper academic pressure can make you care more about your study and help you become a successful person. In addition, 13.6% of college students think that excessive academic pressure leads to depression, even habitual insomnia and physical and mental fatigue, which has a negative impact on their study and life.

Specific and appropriate academic career planning is very important.

"As soon as we entered the school, the teacher suggested that we formulate specific academic plans according to our own characteristics. The teacher said that you should consider the study problems that the university may encounter as soon as possible, be prepared, and take your time when problems arise. " Xiao Yu, who has just been admitted to a master's degree, said, "Academic planning has a guiding role in my four-year study in college. Courses, grade exams, and postgraduate review have all been completed one by one, and the academic pressure has gradually disappeared in the process of constantly enriching myself, which will also become my motivation for learning. "

"College students must learn to plan their academic career," said Mr. Zhang of Capital Normal University. "It can solve the problems of what to learn, how to learn, when to learn and where to learn, ensure the maximum efficiency of scholars' life and career development, and realize personal sustainable development."

Love articles

The love story of two classmates

Xiao Li and her boyfriend are high school classmates of a university in Beijing. After going to college, although I am not in the same school and can't meet every day, my feelings are still very good.

However, in their sophomore year, the boy suddenly decided to study in Spain, which caused great psychological pressure to Xiao Li, but she still supported his decision.

In the past two years, because of the distance, they even had little chance to make a phone call. Coupled with the gradual emergence of many conceptual differences. Finally, they broke up.

Xiao Li said in an interview: "I was in a particularly bad mood during the breakup. Occasionally talk to friends, but most of the time I suffer silently. "

Liu Ye Jr. of a university in Beijing is worrying about love. Her boyfriend is one year older than her, and now he has worked. They have been quarreling a lot recently, and both of them are very unhappy.

Please don't say "no" to the psychologist.

"Although the school has a psychological counseling room, I would rather complain to my classmates or go to the playground for a few laps." Xiao Li, a senior student, said that he has never seen a psychologist in recent years, and he thinks that self-adjustment ability is the most important. However, Xiao Li does not deny the role of psychologists. "Students with poor self-regulation ability or excessive psychological pressure need to consult a professional psychologist."

The survey shows that some college students think that the biggest psychological pressure at present comes from love. The analysis shows that 80% people will not choose to consult when they are confused about love, and only 20% people think they can go to a psychologist.

Why not go to a psychiatrist? According to the survey, 17% of the students think that the psychological doctor is not credible, 32% of the students are worried that they will be misunderstood as "neuropathy" by others, and 27% of the students think that psychological counseling can't solve any problems. There are also 15% students who think that love is private, so it is not convenient to talk about it, and they are worried about information leakage.

To solve this problem, Zhang Hongyu, a teacher from the Psychological Counseling Center of Beijing Technology and Business University, said, "Love is a relatively private and deep-rooted emotion. When students encounter psychological problems in love, they will first think of talking to relatives and friends, which is a better way. But when encountering difficulties, it is also a good choice to seek the help of a psychological teacher. Sometimes some questions are inconvenient to say to friends around you. You might as well consult a psychology teacher. After all, teachers are elders, people who have passed by, and have a strong professional background, which can help students conduct rational psychological counseling. "

Regarding the information security problems that students are worried about, Teacher Zhang Hongyu said: "The information consulted is strictly confidential, and teachers will help students analyze and solve problems objectively and rationally, so don't worry."

Interpersonal relationship articles

Roommates may be strangers.

In this survey, 10% of college students choose interpersonal relationship as their greatest psychological stress. It is worth noting that 70% of the students are girls.

When answering "What kind of discomfort do you have when interacting with classmates or friends", 80% of the girls chose "It is difficult to get along with individuals".

A sophomore girl who was investigated told reporters: "I can't accept the behavior and personality of some classmates around me." Not everyone can be good friends. If they can't accept it, they won't communicate. Anyway, I'm not a classmate who can't talk. "

The reporter asked her if she had such a problem in the dormitory. She said, "Yes, but only one or two. I can't force others to follow my train of thought. Anyway, I just meet at recess. Anyway, I don't communicate much and don't interfere with each other. "

"The main reason for this problem is that college students have a strong sense of self-centeredness, which is determined by the growing environment. At the same time, regional differences and differences in living habits are also important reasons. Shi Gang, director of the Psychological Counseling Center of China Agricultural University, said, "If you can't integrate into the new environment for a long time, it will soon lead to college students' self-isolation, which will easily make other students feel rejected. "

"We also find that girls have great obstacles in interpersonal communication," Shi Gang said. The basic activity units of girls are not limited to classes and dormitories, but there will be one or more small circles in the dormitory. If some female students have problems in interpersonal communication, it is easy to create opposing groups or be isolated. For these students, dormitories are no different from hotels.

Psychological differences caused by gender

Through the analysis of the questionnaire, 60% of the girls chose "don't like some characteristics of the other person's behavior or personality" on the question "the reason why your relationship with friends is weakened or alienated". "What do you think is the psychological reason that affects interpersonal relationships?" The girls' answers focus on the two options of "doubt" and "mutual use".

Psychologists suggest that girls' feelings are delicate, their emotional impulse intensity is weak, and their exposure performance is not obvious. Coupled with physiological reasons, girls tend to be psychologically precocious than boys. This causes them to be wary of people and things other than themselves when interacting with classmates, and pay more attention to whether their behavior and personality conflict with their own thinking. Girls who are in trouble are often suspicious for a long time, such as an unintentional collision and casual verbal injury. Because of self-centered consciousness and vigilance, it is much more serious for girls to prevent others from taking advantage of themselves or using their ideas than for boys. What is even more worrying is that college girls often don't regard interpersonal communication barriers as psychological problems.

Facing the reality of female college students' interpersonal communication, psychological counseling centers in colleges and universities have taken action. Director Shi told reporters that the Psychological Counseling Center of China Agricultural University, on the one hand, strives to increase the number of female psychological counselors; On the other hand, a new group consultation method based on dormitory is being adopted. This method applies not only to girls but also to boys. It is very helpful for girls to break some inherent views and prejudices.

In the long run, it is very necessary to pay attention to the psychological problems caused by gender differences as soon as possible in psychological counseling and counseling. With the post-90s generation entering universities, this problem will become more and more prominent.
