Apply for student loan: after receiving the letter of admission, students can apply for student-origin credit student loan to the county student financial assistance management center where they are registered, and each person can apply for a loan of up to 6,000 yuan per year. The loan period shall be determined according to the full-time undergraduate academic system plus 14 years, and the longest period shall not exceed 14 years. Students can also apply for a national student loan at their place of study through the school, with a maximum loan amount of 6,000 yuan per year. They can choose to start repaying the principal within 1 ~ 2 years after graduation, and pay off the loan principal and interest within 6 years.
Apply for financial aid: If the living expenses of freshmen are insufficient, the national financial aid can be the main one, supplemented by work-study programs. The amount of national grants that can be applied for is 3000 yuan per person per year, which is assessed once every academic year.
Apply for travel allowance: poor freshmen can apply for travel allowance from the local student financial assistance management center. The subsidy standard is: 500 yuan for each new student admitted by local colleges and universities, and 1 1,000 yuan for each new student admitted by colleges and universities outside the city.
Funding target: All the "poor families" (urban low-income families, rural low-income families or rural low-income families recognized by the Civil Affairs Bureau) who have taken the college entrance examination this year and have been admitted to universities without other funding are freshmen of grade 20 14.
Application process: Interested parties can collect and fill in the special application form at the civil affairs offices of towns and streets or computer welfare lottery betting stations, and return it before August 8 after going through the relevant formalities.
