South-Central University for Nationalities is located at No.82 Minzu Avenue/KLOC-0, Hongshan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. South-Central University for Nationalities is a qualified university in the national key plan for ethnic minorities and a "national first-class university" in Hubei Province. The school was formerly South-Central University for Nationalities and was founded in 195 1. 1985, the school enrolled the first batch of graduate students. In March 2002, the school was officially renamed South-Central University for Nationalities. In 20 10, the school achieved the goal of having 56 minority students for the first time.
