Lushan College of Guangxi University of Science and Technology was founded in 2002, which was jointly organized by Liuzhou Municipal People's Government and Guangxi University of Science and Technology and approved by the Ministry of Education to implement undergraduate education.
The college is located in Liuzhou, a famous industrial town and historical and cultural city in Guangxi. The campus covers an area of nearly 1 1,000 mu, with a total investment of 830 million yuan and a total construction area of 350,000 square meters. The college has advanced teaching and experimental training buildings and supporting facilities, more than one laboratory 100 for modern manufacturing, vehicle structure, process control and frozen motion animation, and the library has 850,000 paper books. The college has a strong faculty, with nearly 600 full-time teachers, of whom 35% have senior titles and more than 70% have doctoral and master's degrees.

The college now has 6 teaching departments in 8 departments, including department of mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering Department, Economic Management Department, Automobile Engineering Department, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Art Design Department, Foreign Language and Literature Department, Food and Chemical Industry Department, Ideological and Political Theory Department, Basic Teaching Department, Computer Teaching Department, Foreign Language Teaching Department, Physical Education Department and Public Art Teaching Department, offering 39 majors and professional directions.
Science, management and literature are three major disciplines, enrolling students from 26 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions), 10000 people.
