The college has two doctoral programs in mechanical design and theory, mechanical manufacturing and automation, eight master programs in mechanical manufacturing and automation, mechanical electronic engineering, mechanical design and theory, vehicle engineering, material processing engineering, solid mechanics, general mechanics and mechanical foundation, measuring technology and instruments, and two provincial-level key disciplines in mechanical electronic engineering (national 2 1 1). At present, there are 6 large laboratories, Fujian Digital Design Engineering Research Center, which is affiliated to Fujian Automobile Joint Research Institute and other provincial research institutions.
Mechanical design, manufacturing and automation specialty
This major is a national specialty, which mainly trains compound senior engineering and technical personnel who master modern mechanical engineering technology, microelectronics technology, automatic control technology and computer application technology. Set up courses according to the principle of combining machinery with electricity. In addition to learning the basic theory and technology of machine, electricity and automatic control, we focus on learning new technologies, new processes, microelectronics automatic control technology, mechatronics technology and computer information processing technology in mechanical design and manufacturing, especially in cultivating students' computer application ability and practical ability. After graduation, I can engage in electromechanical design and manufacturing, mold development, research and development of computer application technology, organization and management of production process, sales and other work in companies or research institutes in electromechanical industry, electromechanical software application development industry and other related fields. Material forming and control engineering major
This major mainly trains senior technical personnel who can engage in design and manufacturing, experimental research, development and application, management and other aspects in the fields of new materials, material forming and processing, mold design and manufacturing, and master various modern forming technologies. The main professional directions are: mold design and manufacturing, computer-aided material forming, plastic forming and its automation, liquid forming and its automation, etc. Systematically study materials science foundation, mechanical design foundation, material forming principle and technology, stamping die design, plastic die design, die-casting die design, computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) foundation, computer-aided engineering (CAE), die CAD/CAM, die materials and failure analysis, advanced processing and preparation technology of new materials, computer simulation and simulation of material forming, numerical control processing technology, enterprise information management and other related professional courses. Vehicle engineering major
This major is a national major and the only master's major in vehicle engineering in the province. Cultivate compound senior engineering and technical personnel engaged in vehicle engineering technology design, manufacturing, research, testing, application and management. Pay attention to cultivating students' solid theoretical knowledge, engineering technology foundation and systematic professional knowledge and strong practical ability. The basic course of theory and technology is the same as that of mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, which enables students to have professional knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing, automobile, engine and body design and manufacturing, and strong basic knowledge of automobile electronics and electrical appliances.
