Sun Yat-sen University currently has three campuses and five campuses, located in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai respectively:
Guangzhou Campus:
South Campus: No.35/KLOC-0, Xingang West Road, Guangzhou.

Brief introduction of Sun Yat-sen University
1924, Dr. Sun Yat-sen personally integrated many schools in Guangzhou that implemented modern higher education mode to establish the National Guangdong University, and personally wrote the school motto: "erudition, doubt, thinking, understanding and persistence". After the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the school was named National Sun Yat-sen University on 1926.
Today's Sun Yat-sen University is a comprehensive university including literature, history, philosophy, law, economics, management, teaching, science, medicine, engineering, agriculture and art, which was formed by the merger of Sun Yat-sen University and Sun Yat-sen Medical University after the adjustment of departments in 1952.
Sun Yat-sen University and Sun Yat-sen Medical University have a profound historical origin and academic tradition. Lu Xun, Guo Moruo, Feng Youlan, Gu Jiegang, Yu Pingbo, Chen Yinque, Dai, Shang Chengzuo, Liang, Jiang Lifu, Gao Youxi, Pu Zhelong and other famous experts and scholars have taught in Sun Yat-sen University. Famous medical experts such as Liang, Chen, Qin Guangyu, Lin Shumo, Zhou Shoukai and Zhong once taught in Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences. There are many famous teachers in the school. Their excellent character and superb academic attainments have influenced generations of students and formed a good academic atmosphere. Many talented graduates have become outstanding talents in all walks of life.
Sun Yat-sen University has a solid foundation in humanities and social sciences medical engineering, constantly pursuing academic innovation and opening to the world. Now it has become a comprehensive, research-oriented and open university.
