Jilin University was founded in 1946 and 1952, and became the first comprehensive university founded by China * * * production party after the founding of the People's Republic of China. 1960 was listed as a national key university by the State Council. In 2000, Jilin University, Jilin University of Technology, Bethune Medical University, changchun university of science and technology and Changchun University of Posts and Telecommunications merged to form a new Jilin University. 2. Shandong University
Shandong University is the birthplace of modern higher education in China. The main body is Shandong University Hall founded by 190 1, which is the second national university founded by China after Shi Jing University Hall. Its medical discipline originated from 1864, which opened modern higher medical education in China. 3. Hohai University
The predecessor of Hohai University can be traced back to the "Hohai Engineering College" founded in Nanjing in 19 15, and it is the first institution of higher learning in China to train water conservancy talents. 1924 merged with the Engineering Department of National Southeast University to form Hohai University of Technology, 1927 merged with National Fourth Sun Yat-sen University, and later renamed as National Central University and Nanjing University.
From 65438 to 0952, the water conservancy departments of Nanjing University, Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Zhejiang University and East China Water Conservancy College merged to form East China Water Conservancy College. 1960 was recognized as a national key university by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. 1985, restore the traditional school name "Hohai University".
4. xidian university
The school was formerly the Broadcasting School of the Central Military Commission, 193 1 was born in Ruijin, Jiangxi. It has experienced such historical periods as Radio School of the Central Military Commission, Telecommunication Engineering College of North China Military Region, Engineering School of China People's Revolutionary Military Commission and Communication Engineering College of China People's Liberation Army. 1958 moved to Xi 'an.
1966, transformed into a local organizational system and renamed Northwest Institute of Telecommunications Engineering; 1988 changed its name to xidian university. The school has been subordinate to the Central Military Commission, the National Defense Science, Technology and Industry Committee, the Sixth Machinery Department, the Fourth Machinery Department, the Ministry of Electronics Industry, the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics, and the Ministry of Information Industry, and was placed under the management of the Ministry of Education in 2000.
5. Donghua University
The history of the school can be traced back to Nantong Textile Printing and Dyeing Institute founded by Zhang Jian in 19 12. The school was founded in 195 1, named East China Institute of Textile Technology, which was formed by the merger of the Textile Department of Jiaotong University and other textile departments in East China, Central South and Southwest China. 1985 was renamed China Textile University, and 1999 was renamed Donghua University.
As of March, 20021year, Donghua University has Songjiang Campus, Yan 'an Road Campus and Xinhua Road Campus, covering an area of nearly 2,000 mu and a construction area of over 830,000 square meters. There are 17 colleges (departments) and 59 undergraduate majors, covering 9 disciplines including engineering and science. There are 2320 faculty members, including full-time teachers 14 16.
