Listening includes short news, long dialogue and listening comprehension, reading comprehension includes vocabulary understanding, long reading and multiple choice, and translation is mainly Chinese-English translation.
In the dialogue section of Band 4, there are 25 questions, including short news and long dialogue and listening chapters. In these three sections, multiple-choice questions are mostly used to assess each candidate's English ability.
In the translation part, the theme is the Chinese-English translation of paragraphs. In order to test the examinee's ability to express the information carried by Chinese in English, the content of translation will involve many fields, such as the history, culture, economy and social development of China.
Matters needing attention in CET-4:
Before entering the CET-4 examination room, candidates must take the initiative to show their admission ticket, student ID card and ID card, and the three certificates are not allowed to enter the examination room.
Bring things: Candidates are only allowed to bring necessary stationery into the CET-4 examination room. Watches, paper towels, books, notes, materials, newspapers, pad, draft paper, various wireless communication tools, electronic notebook and other items are prohibited. Once found, cancel the qualification of CET-4.
Discipline of examination room: If communication equipment such as BP machine and mobile phone has been brought into the Level 4 examination room, the power supply must be turned off immediately and kept by the invigilator. Stationery shall not be borrowed from each other without authorization in the examination room.
