Referring to Article 3 of the Regulations on AIDS Prevention and Control, no unit or individual may discriminate against HIV-infected persons, AIDS patients and their families. The legitimate rights and interests of HIV-infected persons, AIDS patients and their families, such as marriage, employment, medical treatment, and enrollment, are protected by law.

Referring to Article 38 of the Regulations on AIDS Prevention and Control, HIV-infected persons and AIDS patients shall perform the following obligations:
(a) accept the epidemiological investigation and guidance of the disease prevention and control institutions or the entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions;
(2) Inform those who have sex with them of the fact that they are infected or ill in time;
(three) when seeking medical treatment, truthfully inform the attending physician of the fact of infection or illness;
(4) Take necessary protective measures to prevent infection to others.
HIV-infected persons and AIDS patients shall not intentionally spread AIDS in any way.
According to Article 39 of the Regulations on AIDS Prevention and Control, when disease prevention and control institutions and entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions conduct AIDS epidemiological investigation, the units and individuals under investigation shall truthfully provide relevant information.
Without the consent of himself or his guardian, no unit or individual may disclose his name, address, work unit, portrait, medical records and other information that may infer his specific identity.
With reference to Article 56 of the Regulations on AIDS Prevention and Control, medical and health institutions that violate the provisions of the second paragraph of Article 39 of these regulations and disclose information of HIV-infected persons, AIDS patients or their families shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases.
Entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions, family planning technical service institutions or other units and individuals who, in violation of the provisions of the second paragraph of Article 39 of this Ordinance, disclose information of HIV-infected persons, AIDS patients or their families, shall be ordered by the competent department at a higher level to make corrections, and informed criticism shall give a warning, and the responsible person in charge and other persons who are directly responsible shall be punished according to law; If the circumstances are serious, the original license issuing department shall revoke the practice license of the relevant institution or person in charge.
Referring to Article 62 of the Regulations on AIDS Prevention and Control, HIV-infected persons and AIDS patients who intentionally spread AIDS shall bear civil liability for compensation according to law; If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.
