Zhejiang Light Industry School is now called Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology. The school was formerly known as Hangzhou Institute of Technology affiliated to Zhejiang University. After several stages of development, it was renamed Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology on 200 1. In June 2003, Zhejiang Light Industry School was merged into the College.
