1 philosophy
The Department of Philosophy of Peking University was founded in 19 12, formerly known as "Philosophy Gate", and officially enrolled in 19 14. It is the earliest philosophy department in China, marking the beginning of modern philosophy in China, and has trained nearly 10,000 graduates so far.

2. Economics

4. Psychology
Peking University Institute of Psychology and Cognitive Science is the first psychology department in China to enter the top one percent of ESI world rankings. In the QS World University Ranking, the School of Psychology has always ranked first among the schools/departments of psychology in mainland universities. In the 2020 world university discipline ranking released by QS, Peking University College of Psychology and Cognitive Science (Psychology) ranks 47th in the world.
In Elsevier's list of highly cited scholars in China over the years, the number of psychological colleges ranks in the forefront of psychology teaching and research units in Chinese mainland. In 20 17, the psychology discipline sponsored by the college was selected into the list of "national double-class" construction disciplines. In the fourth round of subject evaluation by the Ministry of Education, it was rated as A+ unit of psychology. Psychology major was selected as a national first-class undergraduate major construction site.
5. China Language and Literature
Chinese language and literature is one of the most famous majors in Peking University, and it has been selected as a national first-class undergraduate major construction site and a national specialty. At present, its Chinese Department has the most complete discipline system of language and literature in China.
