General professional knowledge is divided into three levels: basic courses, professional basic courses and professional courses. One level per year, plus one year's internship, is exactly four years after senior year's study.
For non-English majors, the college English course will acquiesce that you have mastered all the contents of high school English. College English teachers will not correct your pronunciation, urge you to recite words and tell you grammar systematically. They will only tell you the analysis of new words, new phrases and long sentences. College English emphasizes the application of knowledge, especially the cultivation of listening and speaking ability, which will make you listen to a lot of materials and practice oral English in different situations.
