Southern Medical University, located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, is the only one of the first batch of national key universities in Guangdong Province, and one of the first eight universities in China to offer eight-year undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate courses in clinical medicine. It is also the only medical college among key universities in Guangdong Province.
