There are 9 full-time undergraduate majors in clinical medicine, preventive medicine, stomatology, anesthesiology, pharmacy, pharmaceutical preparations, pharmaceutical engineering, traditional Chinese medicine and nursing, 1 nursing major, among which clinical medicine and pharmacy are national specialties and nursing major is Jilin province specialty. It mainly trains specialized talents at three levels: undergraduate, master and doctor. Students come from 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China. Medical adult education was founded in 1 March, 9601,which is the first school in China to establish medical correspondence education. The education of foreign students of traditional Chinese medicine began at 199 1.
