Article 1 According to the Regulations on the Administration of Student Associations of Shantou University and the Articles of Association of Student Associations of Shantou University, the Rules for the Application of Student Associations of Shantou University are formulated.

Article 2 The purpose of these Provisions is to guide student associations to carry out large-scale intercollegiate activities, encourage student associations in our school to actively display their culture, promote their own development, and standardize the extracurricular activities of student associations.

Article 3 The time to apply for the establishment of a student association is the spring semester, that is, the third month of each year.

Article 4 The binding object of the Articles of Association: all legal student associations affiliated to Shantou University Student Association.

Article 5 The Articles of Association shall be implemented as of the date of promulgation, and the final interpretation right belongs to the Presidium of Shantou University Student Union.

Application conditions for the establishment of student association activities

Article 6 Applicant: A legal student association affiliated to Shantou University Student Union, which has been registered for one year.

Article 7 The project-setting activities of student associations must be non-teaching planned activities completed by student associations in their spare time within the planned time.

Article 8 Application category: All student associations affiliated to Shantou University Student Associations can apply according to the following categories.

1. Entrepreneurship

2. Scientific and technological activities

3. Physical health activities

4. Cultural and artistic activities

5. Ideological and political activities

Application process of student association project establishment

Article 9 The application process of the Federation of Student Associations:

1. Student associations should truthfully fill out the Application Form for Project Establishment of Student Associations in Shantou University, with detailed activity plans and budgets.

2. Submit the application, activity plan and budget of Shantou University student association project to the subordinate committee.

3. After preliminary examination by the Committee, it shall be submitted to the Presidium of the Council for consideration.

Requirements for developing student association project activities

Eleventh schools are used to approve the start-up funds of project activities. The funds for various activities should be controlled within the prescribed funds, and the organization should be responsible for the expenses beyond the prescribed funds.

Twelfth key activities of student associations once approved, the person in charge of the project (the person in charge of the association) should make a specific work plan in time to ensure that it is completed within the planned time limit. The effect of the activity will be used as one of the scoring criteria for the next year's club application.

Thirteenth application for project activities in this semester, after the project is approved, must be held in this semester, and may not apply for project activities in the next semester.

Article 14 If the project activities of student associations are not carried out as scheduled, the following measures will be taken for the associations.

1. If the association cancels the projects approved in the current year, the association may not apply for project initiation activities in the next 1 year.

2. If the Association postpones the association project approved in the current year to one month after the original date, the funds for the association-approved project will be reduced by 20% of the original funds, and the corresponding scores will be deducted from the association's senior high school entrance examination results.

3. If the club postpones the project approved in the current year to one week after the original date, and within one month, the project leader of the club needs to submit an application form for postponing the activity to the affiliated committee. With the approval of the Presidium of the Council, the activities can be postponed.

Fifteenth students' club activities will be supervised by the Youth League Committee of the school during the holding period, and the club staff will track and score, and a certain proportion (5- 10%) of the start-up funds will be recovered for projects with poor implementation effect. The Youth League Committee will reward the project activities held in strict accordance with the regulations and achieved remarkable results and certain influence.

Sixteenth activities after the completion of the project, the person in charge of the project should carefully write a summary report, funds and related activities of the summary report, by the school Youth League Committee and the Federation of associations for identification. Organize relevant exhibition activities when necessary.

Seventeenth activities have been completed, the effect is remarkable, and it has a certain impact on the school. Declared by the project leader, it will be retained as a key activity of the community, and the school will continue to give support and strive to hold it regularly as a brand activity of the student community; Although the activity project has been completed, but it has not achieved the expected effect or caused adverse effects in the school, the project leader shall submit a detailed analysis report.
