Nanjing Audit University, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is the only full-time undergraduate college named after "audit". It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the National Audit Office and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. It is one of the birthplaces of auditing higher education in China.

Nanjing University of Technology, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, was founded by the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. The school has been selected into the "20 1 1 Plan", "KLOC-0/1Plan", "Education and Training Plan for Outstanding Engineers", National Postgraduate Program for Building High-level Universities and National Key Discipline Projects of the Ministry of Education.
