Shui (1926—2004), male, Han nationality, native of Lanzhou, Gansu, professor of foreign languages department of Lanzhou University. He was the first and second director of China Russian Teaching Research Association, the deputy editor of Russian-Soviet Literature magazine, and the director of Gansu Translators Association. He is currently the president of Gansu Foreign Literature Association, the executive director of Gansu International Cultural Communication and Exchange Association, the member of Gansu Social Science Federation and the consultant of Gansu Translators Association.
