The main causes of college students' suicide
There are three main reasons for college students' suicide: frustration in job hunting, failure in love and other reasons.

The formation of suicide behavior is quite complicated, involving biological, psychological, cultural and environmental factors. According to the research report of psychiatry, 70% of people who commit suicide have depression, and the suicide rate of mental patients is as high as 20%.

Social chaos-violence, crime, drugs, divorce, unemployment, etc. -Among the social and environmental factors, there are family problems, marital changes, losses, migration, unemployment, physical illness and other suicides. In some cases, it is all the reasons for suicide. Research shows that any single factor is not a sufficient condition for suicide, and it will only happen when they are combined with other important factors.

Suicide is not a simple individual act, but a response to a disintegrating society. Social unrest and decline have caused social and cultural instability and undermined social support and exchanges that are very important to individuals. Therefore, it weakens the ability, confidence and will to survive, leading to a sharp increase in suicide rate.

Suicide intervention is mainly based on prevention, which is divided into three levels, namely primary prevention, secondary prevention and tertiary prevention.

Primary prevention: primary prevention mainly refers to preventing the development of individual suicidal tendency. The main measures of primary prevention are to manage dangerous goods such as pesticides, poisons and dangerous drugs, monitor high-risk groups who may commit suicide, actively treat mental or physical diseases of high-risk groups who commit suicide, widely publicize mental health knowledge and improve people's skills in coping with difficulties.

Secondary prevention: Secondary prevention mainly refers to crisis intervention for individuals on the verge of suicide. Through psychological hotline counseling or face-to-face counseling services, help people with suicidal thoughts get out of trouble and give up suicidal thoughts.

Three-level prevention: Three-level prevention mainly refers to taking measures to prevent suicide attempts from happening again.
