It has bright colors and simple patterns. From Huaishitang to the north is the scenery of Lingnan University: Baiyun Mountain is high, the Pearl River is long, the path is quiet, and the litchi trees along the river are lush.
The mountains, waters and paths in the school emblem have far-reaching significance. Baiyun Mountain is a famous mountain in Lingnan, living in southern Guangdong, symbolizing the highest ideal of life. Pearl River, the confluence of three rivers, east, west and north, has a long history and symbolizes the long-term education of Lingnan. Trees symbolize career. Every summer, litchi trees are fruitful, symbolizing the ambition of Lingnan people to "cultivate talents and serve the society". This road points to the future.
Lingnan education aims to open up a bright future of life. Or climb to the top of the white clouds and look at the five ridges in the north, or float in the water of the Pearl River and cross the ocean. Every Lingnan student follows this road, making unremitting efforts and forging ahead.
The colors of Lingnan School are mainly red and gray, that is, "deep red as blood and dark gray as iron", which symbolizes strength and loyalty. Under the guidance of the spirit of "red and gray", Lingnan people are making great strides and developing an eternal Hongji.
