The School of Medicine of Yangtze University was founded in March of 195 1 year, with five departments (clinical medicine department, nursing department, traditional Chinese medicine department, medical imaging department and preventive medicine department), four departments (medical morphology department, medical function department, medical pathogenic biology department and medical experiment department) and two centers (molecular medicine experiment center and Sino-US cooperation central nervous system injury).
