At present, he is the director of Institute of Light Metals and Industrial Electrochemistry, School of Metallurgy, Central South University, the vice president and chief scientist of Hunan Ruixiang New Materials Co., Ltd., the director of China Lithium Battery Association and the editorial board of International Power Business. In 2002, he was rated as an advanced individual in scientific and technological innovation in Hunan Province, and in March 2004, he was elected as a candidate for the Top Ten Youth Entrepreneurship Award in Hunan Province. He has visited Japan, South Korea, Russian and other countries and Taiwan Province Province for many times for investigation and academic exchanges.
