PLA National Defence University is the highest military academy in China and the only senior contract command academy of the Chinese Army. Directly under the leadership of the Central Military Commission, it is responsible for training command cadres at or above the army, navy and air force, leading cadres at the local provincial level and leading cadres at or above the army level in central state organs, engaging in research on strategy and national defense modernization, and playing an advisory role in the decision-making of the State Council, the Central Military Commission and the headquarters. Located in Beijing, National Defense University consists of a main school and a graduate school. The total area is 165.5 hectares. The school has a strong faculty and complete teaching, scientific research and living facilities. The collection of 6.5438+0.3 million volumes, modern audio-visual equipment, journals of National Defense University and publishing houses provide favorable conditions for teaching and scientific research.
