I am a freshman in Zhejiang University of Technology this year, so I should have some say. The strongest major of Polytechnic University is chemistry, which is one of the best in China. Of course, the machinery and electricity are also very strong. As for municipal engineering, it's just so-so. Polytechnic University ranks second in Zhejiang Province, and employment is certainly good (provided that you live in Zhejiang in the future). As for Hangzhou, it is one of the most livable cities in China. Greening is good and clean. Apart from high housing prices and crowded buses, everything else is easy to say. Personally, I feel no worse than Beijing and Shanghai.
