The Medical College of Jinggangshan University consists of four colleges: Basic Medical College, Clinical Medical College, Nursing College and Chinese Medicine College. There are 7 undergraduate majors including clinical medicine, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, preventive medicine, pharmacy, nursing and rehabilitation. 20 16 Both clinical medicine and traditional Chinese medicine have passed the professional certification of the Ministry of Education, and the professional certification of clinical medicine will be extended to 2025.

Traditional Chinese medicine and nursing are the first-class undergraduate construction majors in Jiangxi Province, while traditional Chinese medicine and preventive medicine are four-star majors in Jiangxi Province. Clinical medicine, pharmacy and nursing were rated as core majors by the school. The Department has signed agreements with Tongji University, Xiamen University and Wenzhou Medical University to jointly train undergraduates.

The department has the National Physician Qualification Examination (Clinical) Practical Skills Examination Base, the Professional Emerging Industry College of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Online Cooperative Research Center of Evidence-based Medicine of the Ministry of Education of China, the Branch Center of Jinggangshan University, the Key Laboratory of Medical Biotechnology of Ji 'an City, and the Research Center of Neurodegenerative Diseases and Aging of Jinggangshan University.
