Hangzhou Dianzi University is a teaching and research university founded by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and National Defense Science, Technology and Industry Bureau. It is one of the first five key universities in Zhejiang Province, and was selected into the national "11plan" and the "Education and Training Plan for Outstanding Engineers" of the Ministry of Education. The school is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, with Party Secretary and President Zhu. The motto of the school is "study hard, keep integrity and keep innovating".
By June 2022, the school has five campuses, namely Xiasha, Wen Yi, Dongyue, Xiasha East and Qingshan Lake, covering an area of more than 2,500 mu. There are 19 colleges and teaching units, 1 independent colleges with more than 2,400 faculty members. The school has 45 undergraduate majors, featuring electronic information and economic management. There are 9 first-class doctoral programs, 4 post-doctoral research stations, 19 first-class master programs and 18 professional master programs.

Four young people were selected for the National Overseas Talents Introduction Program, two winners of the National Natural Science Foundation's Outstanding Youth Fund, nine experts enjoying the special government allowance of the State Council, and eight people were selected for the "New Century Outstanding Talents Support Program"/KLOC-0 of the Ministry of Education. There are 2 provincial specially invited experts, 4 young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions, and 0/2 Qianjiang Scholars distinguished professor/KLOC. It has two national "11plan" subject innovation and intelligence introduction bases and1provincial academician expert workstations.
