Shandong Agricultural University, Shan Nong for short, is a public university. The school is located in Tai 'an City, Shandong Province, at the foot of Mount Tai. The school, formerly known as Shandong Higher Agricultural School, was founded in Jinan, 1906. 1983 was renamed as Shandong university, and now Shan Nong is formed by the merger of Shandong Agricultural University and Shandong Institute of Water Conservancy of 1997.
