The study of ancient Chinese is the basis of studying the history and culture of the Chinese nation. However, for college students, the study of ancient Chinese should go from shallow to deep, attacking its points first and then breaking its surface. We can study every note thoroughly in combination with Jiang's Four Books Reader, so that it won't be very difficult to learn. I saw a video called "Lida Guo Xue" earlier. They took out the stories of each chapter in Mencius and classified each story into different idioms, which made it much easier to learn and easier to remember.
