Xi University of Technology, referred to as "Xi University of Technology" for short, is the only teaching and research university in northwest China that features military engineering and focuses on engineering, with the coordinated development of literature, science, economics, management and law.

As of June 20 17 and 10, the school covers an area of 1200 mu with a building area of 800,000 square meters. There are three first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees and three post-doctoral research stations. There are 15 first-level disciplines authorized for master's degree, 6 professional master's degree authorized categories and 20 professional degree authorized fields; 54 undergraduate majors.

Subjects and specialties include engineering, science, management, economics, law, literature, education and art, with 1 national teaching team, 2 national professional comprehensive reform pilot projects and 1 national experimental demonstration center. There are more than 0/0.8 million faculty members, more than 2,000 full-time doctoral and master students, and about 0/0.8 million undergraduates.

As of May 20 18. The school now has 1 national and local joint engineering research center, 1 national and local joint engineering laboratory, 1 international scientific and technological cooperation base, 1 key experiments of the Ministry of Education and 16 other provincial and ministerial research bases.

Teaching achievements:

As of May 20 18, the school won the second prize of national teaching achievement twice in 2009 and 20 14. In recent 10 years, the school won 22 provincial teaching achievement awards (including 2 special prizes and 9 first prizes). The school won the first prize of outstanding achievements of campus culture in Shaanxi Province for 7 consecutive years. In 20 14, it won the Shaanxi Provincial Publicity and Ideological and Cultural Innovation Award and became the only award-winning university in Shaanxi.
