Xinjiang University has three campuses, namely Boda Campus, Honghu Campus (Headquarters) and Friendship Campus. We will focus on the Friendship Campus.

geographical position

A friendly campus has an absolute advantage in geographical location. It is located in the bustling area of Urumqi. There are many large shopping malls opposite the school, and there are many interesting places nearby, such as museums and art galleries. But it is precisely because of this that the friendly campus covers an exceptionally small area. However, being small also has small advantages, such as getting to the classroom in a minute or two. The stadium and track field are built outside the campus. It takes one kilometer to get to the track and field, and it is close to the gym.

Boda campus is a newly-built campus, so the geographical location is not very good. In a more partial position, the details are not clear.

Hardware facilities

Because Boda is a new campus with great advantages. The teaching facilities are better than Honghu Campus and Friendship Campus, and the canteens, libraries and teaching buildings are all air-conditioned.

I have to mention here that students who are afraid of heat should never apply for computer and economic majors in Xinjiang University, because there are no air conditioners and fans on the friendly campus, only a library (euphemistically called a library, in fact, there are several bookshelves and tables in the air-conditioned room) and several laboratories. Of course, if you love the computer major in our school very much, you can also apply, but you should prepare a small fan yourself.

Professional distribution campus

As for the distribution of majors, different majors will be assigned to different campuses. Friendship has two colleges-software college and business college. If you apply for computer science, 99% may be assigned to a friendly campus. Will be assigned to the major of business school. Please pay attention.
