Nanjing Communications Vocational and Technical College is an ordinary institution of higher learning at the level of communications and junior college, which is affiliated to Jiangsu Provincial Communications Department.
Its predecessor, Jiangsu Nanjing Communications School, was founded in 1964, and was independently upgraded to Nanjing Communications Vocational and Technical College in June 2006. In 2005, he passed the evaluation of talent training in national higher vocational colleges with "excellent" results. At present, the college has two campuses, Jiangning and Pukou, with a total area of nearly 1000 mu, a total construction area of nearly 220,000 square meters, and the total fixed assets of teaching equipment amounted to more than 40 million yuan. In 2004, T-TEP School was established in cooperation with Toyota Company of Japan. In 2005, Shanghai-Nanjing Steel Machine Class was jointly established with Shanghai-Nanjing Steel Machine Company; In 2006, it was officially registered in cooperation with St. Clare, Canada. The college has 34 majors in 7 departments, including automobile engineering department, highway engineering department, management engineering department, information engineering department, electromechanical engineering department, construction engineering department and humanities and social sciences department. At present, there are more than 300 full-time teachers, of which more than 30% are teachers with senior titles, and "double-qualified" teachers 165. In the past two years, the enrollment scale of the college has increased year by year, and the enrollment scope has expanded to 7 provinces across the country, with nearly 9,000 students.
