Wu Qianyu was born in Zhejiang, China. His father was a mixed-race child of China, Australia and France, his great-grandmother was a mixed-race child of Australia and France, and his mother was from Shanghai. Because my father was in Hong Kong, he moved to Hong Kong with his mother a few months after his birth.

The University of Wu Qianyu is a member of the School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong. At school, I formed a new generation of "Happy Women's Group" with Queyranne, Li Manying, Chen Jiabao and Kattty Kwok. When I was a student, I made TV advertisements, including advertisements for Tianbao and PCCW brands.
