1, Nanjing University
The school was founded in 1902 Sanjiang Normal School. Later 1950 was renamed Nanjing University, including Liangjiang Normal University, Nanjing Higher Normal University, National Southeast University and National Central University. 1952, after adjusting some departments, it merged with the College of Arts and Sciences of Jinling University founded by 1888 and was still named Nanjing University. The school site was moved from Sipailou to the original site of Jinling University in Gulou. In 2006, the Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Province signed an agreement on key construction of Nanjing University.
2. Suzhou University
Soochow University, formerly known as 1900, is the first university in China to establish a modern university discipline system. It is the first university in China to establish a periodical, the first professional education in law (Anglo-American law) and the first postgraduate education. 1952 faculty adjustment, Suzhou University College of Arts and Sciences, Sunan College of Culture and Education, and Jiangnan University Department of Mathematics and Science merged to form Sunan Normal University, which was renamed Jiangsu Normal University in the same year. 1982, the school was renamed Suzhou University.
3. Yangzhou University
The school's predecessor was Tongzhou Normal School and Tonghai Agricultural School, which were founded by Mr. Zhang Jian, a famous industrialist and educator in modern times from 65438 to 0902. During the adjustment of departments in China from 65438 to 0952, its departments of literature and history and agriculture moved to Yangzhou to run schools, becoming the predecessors of Yangzhou Normal University and Jiangsu Agricultural College. 1992 With the approval of the State Education Commission, Yangzhou University was formed by the merger of Yangzhou Normal College, Jiangsu Agricultural College, Yangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, Yangzhou Medical College, Jiangsu Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Jiangsu Business School.
