Jiangxi Normal University of Science and Technology, located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is a public multi-disciplinary undergraduate college, which was selected into the "Excellent Teacher Training Program" of the Ministry of Education. It is a national key vocational education teacher training base, a first-class discipline construction university in Jiangxi Province, a vocational education teacher training center in Jiangxi Province, and a test center management office directly under the teacher qualification interview in Jiangxi Province. It is the receiving institution of Jiangxi provincial government scholarship and Confucius Institute scholarship for international students in China.

The school is mainly composed of the former Jiangxi Normal University of Science and Technology and merged with Nanchang College. Nanchang College 1952 started;

Jiangxi Teachers College of Science and Technology was founded by 1977 as Nanchang Branch of Jiangxi Teachers College. 1984 was renamed Nanchang Teachers College, 1987 was upgraded to Nanchang Vocational and Technical Teachers College, and it was renamed Jiangxi Teachers College of Science and Technology in 2002. In 2004, Nanchang College was merged into Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University, and 20 12 School was renamed Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University.
