University of Shanghai for Science and Technology was founded on September 30th, 1960, which is the predecessor of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. 1972, Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering was abolished and merged into Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering, and the former Institute of Technology became the headquarters of Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering. 1979, the organizational system was restored, Shanghai University of Technology was formally established, and it was later established as a key university in Shanghai. 1On May 27th, 994, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology was cancelled and merged into the newly established Shanghai University, and the former campus of Polytechnic University became the expansion campus of Shanghai University. Since its establishment 34 years ago, * * * has trained16,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
