The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University is one of the few modern general hospitals with strong treatment ability, strong international communication ability and high scientific research level in China.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University was founded in September, 1928, and its predecessor was the former Medical Department of Sun Yat-sen University in Henan. 1930 medical college changed to medical college. 193 1 Established the Provincial Affiliated Hospital of Henan University. 1942 was renamed as the National Affiliated Hospital of Henan University. 1952 was renamed as the Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical College. 1958 moved from Kaifeng to Zhengzhou and changed its name to the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical College. 1985 was renamed as the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical University. In 2000, Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou University of Technology and Henan Medical University merged, and the hospital was officially named the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University.
