The first university in Ningxiang, Changsha Health Vocational College. Changsha Health Vocational College, the first university in Ningxiang City, opened on October 8th, 20 19, welcoming 2672 freshmen from all over the country. At present, the school has five colleges, including nursing college, clinical college, stomatology college, pharmacy college and medical technology college, and 45 freshman classes. The school is very big and beautiful.

At present, there is only one in Ningxiang, Changsha Health Vocational College, the former Changsha Health School, which was moved from Xingsha. The new campus construction project of Changsha Health Vocational College is included in the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" major project of Changsha, and it is a key construction project of provinces and cities. The new campus is located at the intersection of Jidong New City, Yuening Avenue (North) and Huaqiang Avenue (East).

The total planned land area of the new campus of Changsha Health Vocational College and its affiliated hospitals is about 1 100 mu, and the planned construction area of the first phase of the new campus is178,000 square meters, with a total investment of about1200 million yuan, which can meet the needs of 8,000 full-time students in 10 majors after being completed and put into use.
